Each day offers space to restore your nervous system, reconnect with your senses, and experience the calming, grounding effects of nature. She curates transformative forest therapy walks that reduce stress, anxiety and depression and boost immunity, vitality and creativity. Our focus is joy and stillness while connecting to the present moment in nature through our senses. Forest Therapy (also called forest bathing or shinrin-yoku in Japanese) is backed by scientific research showing that sessions can reduce stress hormones, boost immune function, reduce anxiety and depression, increase feelings of joy, and enhance creativity and focus. Kristen Formaini is a certified yoga therapist and yoga teacher. She uses the tools of yoga (breath practices, intentional movement, meditation and interoceptive exercises) to help individuals build awareness so they can pay better attention to themselves and the world around them. Over the last 20 years, yoga research has been show to reduce our preception of stress, decrease symptoms of anxiety and depression, support respiratory, cardiovascular, brain and metabolic function and build awareness around the body, emotions and thoughts.
